For parents
SoyleStories is built for calm bedtime moments where your child is the focus. This page explains how AI watches over story safety, how we recommend reading together, and what we do — and do not do — with your family’s data.
How we keep stories safe
Every story passes family-safety rules before it reaches you. Our prompts block scary, adult and inappropriate themes by default, and the model is tuned for warm, gentle, age-appropriate storytelling. When a child wants to face a difficult theme — fear, a phobia, bullying, grief, loneliness, teasing — the app reworks it as a story about courage, discovery or finding a way through, while preserving what matters to the child.
Read together
SoyleStories is designed for shared bedtime reading, not solo screen time. Sit with your child, read the story aloud, talk about it together. Use the moments where your child appears in the story to ask questions: what would you do here? How did your character feel? These conversations are the real magic — the AI provides the story; you provide the warmth. We recommend one or two stories per night, not background entertainment.
Your family's data stays yours
Your characters and saved stories live in your account so they follow you across devices. We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising, or build behavioural profiles on your child. We use a paid Gemini API tier with a no-training guarantee — your prompts are not used to train AI models. We collect only what is needed to keep the app working: your account email, anonymous usage signals, and crash reports. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
